BDJ/Eastman CPD
AIMS, OBJECTIVES, ANTICIPATED OUTCOMES AND QUALITY CONTROL
Aims:
To encourage GDC registered dentists to read peer-reviewed articles published in the British Dental Journal and answer questions in order to obtain verifiable CPD.
Objectives:
To develop independent study skills and critical appraisal techniques based on an in-depth review of articles issued in the British Dental Journal at regular intervals.
Anticipated outcomes:
The project will assist participants in keeping up-to-date in a broad spectrum of subject areas, alter their clinical and management practices where applicable and achieve verifiable CPD in a convenient, enjoyable and rewarding task.
Quality control:
The articles are peer-reviewed and published in the internationally recognised British Dental Journal and the questions are set by the authors. Clinical and technical support is offered through dedicated telephone and online services whilst feedback is encouraged through the website.
